"The Everest Years"

His four Everest Expeditions from 1972 to 1985.

This lecture describes all four of Bonington’s visits to Everest – the attempt on the South West Face in the Autumn of 1972, the successful ascent in 1975, the attempt on the North East Ridge in 1982 and finally his successful ascent with the Norwegian Expedition in 1985. It incorporates video clips and actuality sound and brings to life his most important and demanding expeditions.
